A couple has been charged with reckless homicide after authorities discovered an unresponsive infant over an embankment outside their home, following the woman’s report of a possible miscarriage at a hospital.
Deann Bennett, 27, and Charles Bennett, 32, both of Booneville, were arrested Monday following a year-long investigation by Kentucky State Police. A grand jury in Owsley County issued indictments in the case in late January.
